Aomi separates revenue from service charges. Your App can earn revenue from priced tools and supported transaction outcomes. Aomi charges for managed model usage and App hosting.

How the fee model works

Tool fees and outcome fees produce revenue for your App. Managed model usage and hosting are service charges.

Credits

Aomi uses credits to price App tools and measure model usage. 1 Aomi credit = $0.01 USD. A tool priced at 100 credits costs the user $1.00 after a successful call. Failed and blocked calls do not create a tool fee.

Tool fees

You set a flat price for each billable tool in <app>.pricing.toml. You also name the wallet that should receive the revenue. When a priced tool succeeds, Aomi records the fee for that user and beneficiary. Aomi can combine small balances before requesting payment. The user then pays the beneficiary directly in USDC through x402. Aomi applies a 10% platform fee to gross tool revenue. Your net revenue is the remaining 90%.

Outcome fees

An outcome fee charges a percentage of value moved by a supported onchain action. You define the percentage in basis points. A rule with bps = 30 charges 0.30%. Aomi adds the fee to the same smart-account transaction as the requested action. The user reviews and signs both together. The fee uses the asset being moved, so it does not require an x402 payment. Aomi applies a 30% platform fee to gross outcome-fee revenue. Your net revenue is the remaining 70%.
Outcome fees apply only when Aomi can identify a supported transaction flow. Opaque contract calls do not produce an outcome fee.

Funding model usage

Aomi checks who provides the model key for each App request. The selected model does not change when the funding source changes. If you use your own provider key, the provider bills that account directly and Aomi does not add a model charge.

App hosting

Aomi charges $10 per active App each calendar month. Hosting appears as a service charge in Usage.

Worked examples

User Usage view

Assume a user has a monthly allowance of 5,000 credits. During the statement period, they use 3,814.827 credits across 245 model turns. The Usage page reports $38.15 of model usage after rounding to cents. The monthly allowance covers the complete $38.15 model charge. The user has about 1,185.173 credits left. No wallet payment is required for compute in this period. Any future outcome fee would settle separately in the asset used by the transaction.

Builder Usage view

Assume a builder operates eight active Apps and uses $0.65 of Aomi-managed model access during the statement period. The Apps generate no user revenue during that period. The negative net means the builder owes $80.65 for service charges. If an App uses its own model key, its provider usage does not add an Aomi model charge.
